Anthropic reports fewer junior technical hires and more meeting time
Anthropic reported that the share of junior technical hires fell from 27% to 9% since early 2025 and employee meeting time rose 20% over the past year.
Anthropic said its workforce report found a smaller share of junior employees in technical departments and a smaller technical share of its overall staff. The company said the changes followed broader use of its Claude tools and expansion of business functions.
Anthropic reported that meeting time increased 20% per employee, while technical contributors' meeting time rose 16%, which it attributed to the need for coordination, trust and accountability.
