At least 15 unaccounted for after flash flood in Arizona's Grand Canyon
The National Park Service said at least 15 people may be unaccounted for after flooding near Bright Angel Canyon and Phantom Ranch.
Officials said 62 people had been evacuated after Saturday's flash flood, with no injuries reported as of Sunday. Flooding destroyed footbridges, carried debris into the Colorado River and closed Phantom Ranch, Bright Angel Campground and the North Kaibab Trail.
The National Park Service requested information about people who may have been in the affected corridor and said it was coordinating additional evacuations with Arizona authorities.
