Auburn beats No. 1 Georgia on McPherson's final-play field goal
Alex McPherson's 34-yard field goal as time expired gave Auburn a 27-24 win over No. 1 Georgia in Athens.
Auburn recovered a fumble in the final minute and drove into field-goal range before McPherson's kick ended the game at Sanford Stadium.
The Tigers had built a 10-point lead in the second half before Georgia tied the game with 2:58 remaining.
