Claims open in $250 million Apple settlement over Siri feature allegations
A claims window has opened in a $250 million settlement over allegations that Apple misrepresented the availability of Siri and Apple Intelligence features.
Eligible buyers of certain iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 models can now submit claims under a settlement covering devices purchased in the United States from June 10, 2024, through March 29, 2025. Payments are expected to start at $25 per device and could reach $95, depending on participation and other factors.
The lawsuit alleged that Apple promoted AI features that were not available when the phones launched. Apple denied wrongdoing, and a court approval hearing is scheduled for February 2027.
