Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis withdrew the death warrant for William Lee Thompson, a 74-year-old death-row prisoner whose execution by lethal injection had been scheduled for Tuesday.
DeSantis did not state a reason for the withdrawal, according to the Associated Press report carried by ABC News.
