Federal judge limits DHS voter-roll checks in nine states
A federal judge ordered the Department of Homeland Security to restrict field operations targeting alleged voter fraud and noncitizens on voter rolls in nine states, PBS reported.
PBS reported that the order concerns a DHS operation that the underlying lawsuit said began in August. It bars field stops and interviews unless agents have reason to believe a person is not a U.S. citizen.
