Haiti prepares to extradite 18 suspects in President Jovenel Moïse's killing to the US
Eighteen suspects in Haitian President Jovenel Moïse's 2021 assassination were flown from Port-au-Prince to Florida to face federal charges, US officials said.
US officials said a military flight transported 18 suspects from Haiti to Florida on Sunday for proceedings over their alleged roles in the plot to kill President Jovenel Moïse. The transfer completes an extradition that had been pending.
