Hundreds cross from Ethiopia into Kenya after fighting near Moyale
Kenyan police said hundreds of Ethiopians, mostly women and children, crossed into Kenya while fleeing fighting near the border town of Moyale.
The fighting followed a dispute over displaying the Somali Regional State flag and escalated between forces from Ethiopia's Oromia and Somali regions, Al Jazeera reported. The Kenya Red Cross said it was preparing temporary shelter and essential supplies for displaced households.
