Justice Department investigates White House television pool coverage halt
The Justice Department said it is investigating whether the White House television press pool's temporary halt in coverage of President Donald Trump violated antitrust law.
The department said it is examining whether the pool's decision after several news outlets were barred from the White House amounted to unlawful coordinated conduct. The five-network pool has resumed coverage.
The affected outlets challenged the restrictions in court, and a judge temporarily restored their access, according to the Associated Press.
