Las Vegas jury convicts Duane Davis of murder in Tupac Shakur killing
A Las Vegas jury convicted Duane Davis of murder for his role in the 1996 drive-by shooting that killed rapper Tupac Shakur.
Prosecutors argued that Davis directed the effort that led to Shakur's fatal shooting after a fight involving Davis's nephew. The defense contended that investigators lacked reliable evidence and that Davis had exaggerated his account in a memoir.
The judge scheduled sentencing for Oct. 13.
