Major TV networks decline White House pool duty after three outlets are barred
Fox News, CBS, ABC and NBC declined to participate in the White House television pool after the administration barred CNN, MS NOW and Politico.
The four networks announced their decision after the White House revoked access for CNN, MS NOW and Politico. The three barred organizations said they filed a lawsuit alleging that the administration violated their First Amendment rights.
The pool's absence left President Donald Trump's remarks at a South Lawn helipad ceremony inaudible in live footage, according to the report.
