NASA opens proposals for large-scale XRISM observation programs

NASA announced the first XRISM Key Programs, with proposals due Dec. 4 and about three million seconds of observing time available starting in June 2027.

NASA said the programs are intended to produce broadly useful public data through strategic, large-scale X-ray observations. Researchers worldwide may apply, and selected observations will not have an exclusive-access period.
