NASA schedules first SkyFall Mars landing-site workshop for February 2027
NASA announced a virtual workshop for Feb. 9-10, 2027, to evaluate potential landing sites and exploration zones for the SkyFall Mars mission.
NASA said the meeting will be the first of two science-focused workshops and should produce a ranked list of candidate sites. The project will assess engineering safety while participants consider scientific value and possible helicopter flight paths.
