North Korea launches two short-range ballistic missiles toward eastern waters
South Korea's military said North Korea launched two short-range ballistic missiles from the Wonsan area, with both weapons landing in the sea.
South Korea's military said the missiles were launched about three hours apart from North Korea's eastern coast, traveling roughly 450 and more than 600 kilometers before landing in the sea.
South Korea's presidential office called for an end to launches barred by U.N. Security Council resolutions. Japan's Defense Ministry said a suspected missile did not land in Japanese territorial waters.
