One Nation candidate Luke Herdegen defeated Labor’s Georgia Tree in the Secret Harbour state byelection in Western Australia.
The Guardian reported that Herdegen won the suburban Western Australia seat, which had previously been held by Labor. The result gave One Nation a state-seat victory in Perth’s southern coastal suburbs.
