Televangelist Jim Bakker dies at 86
Jim Bakker, who co-founded the PTL television ministry with Tammy Faye Bakker, died Monday, his wife said.
Bakker and Tammy Faye Bakker built the PTL Club into a major televangelism enterprise before scandals and financial-crime convictions ended his leadership there.
His wife, Lori Bakker, announced his death; no cause was immediately given.
