TikTok announced an AI shopping assistant and a checkout feature that lets users buy directly from brands in the app.
TikTok announced a conversational Shopping Assistant designed to help users find products, review details such as sizing and availability, and complete purchases.
The company also introduced a one-click checkout feature for purchases from brands through the For You feed. TikTok said it is building the features with commerce platforms and payment providers including Salesforce, Shopify, Shoplazza and Stripe.
