Trump says political group will cover future self-promotional television ads
President Donald Trump said MAGA Inc. will pay for future television ads promoting him after criticism over taxpayer-funded spots.
Trump said he would stop using taxpayer funds for the advertisements and instead use money he raised for MAGA Inc.
The White House said the political organization would pay going forward; the announcement did not address reimbursement for ads that had already aired.
