UK Prime Minister Burnham to meet Trump at UN General Assembly in New York
UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham is due to hold his first meeting with President Donald Trump on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.
U.S. officials said Burnham and Trump would meet during the UN General Assembly. Burnham plans to seek additional U.S. support for Ukraine's air defenses and discuss disruption to shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.
The talks will be Burnham's first in-person meeting with Trump since he became prime minister in July. Burnham is also scheduled to address the General Assembly on Tuesday.
