UN special rapporteur says US boat strikes may constitute crimes against humanity
UN special rapporteur Ben Saul said there are reasonable grounds to believe US strikes on alleged drug boats constituted crimes against humanity.
Saul's briefing assessed dozens of US attacks in the Pacific and Caribbean and argued that they amounted to unlawful killings outside an armed conflict. The Guardian reported that the State Department had not responded to its request for comment.
