United Russia retains State Duma majority in preliminary results
Russia's election commission said preliminary results gave United Russia 355 of the State Duma's 450 seats after a vote that excluded most opposition candidates.
Preliminary results from more than 95% of polling stations put United Russia just below 58% in the party-list vote and ahead in 208 individual constituencies. Voting included Russian-held Ukrainian regions, which Kyiv called illegal, while Russia did not invite OSCE observers.
