U.S. ambassador Mike Huckabee condemns settler attack on Washington Post photographer
U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee condemned an attack by Israeli settlers that injured Washington Post photojournalist Heidi Levine in the West Bank.
Huckabee called for a full investigation after the attack during an olive harvest in the West Bank. Reporting said Levine was hospitalized in Tel Aviv with injuries including broken ribs and a hand injury.
The ambassador's statement described the assault as an attack by masked settlers; authorities had not publicly announced the outcome of an investigation.
